Who are the exams for?
These exams are suitable for students up seven years old, whatever their level, from absolute beginner to full mastery. Learners may be school or college students, working professionals, or those looking to improve their English skills for their own personal developed.

What are graded examinations in spoken English?
The grades are a series of English language examinations testing on speaking and listening skills. They are a one to one conversation between the student and the trinity examiner who comes from the UK to conduct the assessment. There are twelve grades altogether, encouraging students to develop and progress by acknowledging each step forward; at every stage of the student’s development there is a chance to mark progress and success.

Recognition
Trinity ESOL examinations are recognized worldwide by academic institutions, companies and professional organizations. Trinity is accredited in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, ACCAC and CEA. The examinations are also mapped to the Common European Framework.

All Trinity exams are designed to support classroom work – not interfere with it. The graded exams form a natural part of any course English language study, taken in a group or individually.
